The Evolution of Mabel

MANNEQUINsmall-[Converted].jpg

The original drawing of Mabel, the designer's faithful dress form since her days at Parsons School of Design. The mannequin drawing became the brand’s trademark for Stacia New York, representing the origins of a true dressmaker and her NYC atelier. Mabel appeared on the boutique's front door, on shopping bags, and on the signature turquoise flag labels sewn on every garment. The logo was retired in 2015 after Stacia rebranded, but the hand-drawn trademark lives on in the designer's first children's book on fashion, Mabel the Fashion Muse.

Explore the evolution of Mabel from her humble beginnings in 1998 Brooklyn, New York to the main character of a children’s book about fashion published in 2020.
